Performance Info
When: Saturday, April 25th 6:30pm
Where: At Church of the Holy Trinity Sanctuary space with the stage up!
We are excited to announce that the 2026 Student Choreography Project will be called The Choreographer’s Showcase!
This performance will now include choreography submissions from ESB students, ESB faculty, and ECB company members! We encourage all students in Ballet 2 and up (including our Adult Students!) to participate! We feel it is so important for our students to have a chance to develop their voice (so to speak) by creating their own dance work. This is a great show for a great cause, as all of the profits from this show go to our Scholarship Fund.
There is a $30 Performance/Participation Fee for all students who are either dancing or choreographing.
Dancers who are not performing in the Choreographer's Showcase are highly encouraged to come see the show and support your peers or make a baked good for our bake sale! Tickets are $12. This is a great show for a great cause, as all of the profits from this show go to our Scholarship Fund.
Special Opportunity for Ballet 4 through Ballet 10!
It is a tradition at ESB for our seniors to choreograph a piece for the upper level students. This year ESB Senior Rory Kimball will be setting a group piece on the upper level students, and we encourage all students in Ballet 4 and up to participate in this group piece! We are carving out a special free rehearsal slot from 9:45-10:15 am on Saturdays leading up to the performance.
The deadline to register for Rory’s Group Dance is Friday, February 13th. Rory’s Group Piece rehearsals will begin on Saturday, February 14th.
How To Submit For Students:
Choreographers, Please Sign Up With This Online Form. The deadline to register for Rory’s Group Piece is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13th. The deadline to sign up for all other dances and choreographers is Saturday March 14th. Registration is first come, first serve. We have 15 spots to fill for students!
Requirements for Ballet 2:
Solos: 1 minute max
Duets and group pieces: 2 minutes max
Requirements for Ballet 3 and up:
Solos: 2 minutes max
Duets and group pieces: 3 minutes max
Song Choice: In order for the students to develop thematic elements to choreographed work which are not lyric driven the song choice should not contain lyrics. If a student really wants to use a song with words we ask that you also use a song without lyrics as part of the work and edit the music to fit the required length of time.
Choreographers will need to show dances to Miss Elisa by or before April 13th. Email admin@ekklesiaballet.org to schedule a time.
Dancers may use studio space upon request. Email admin@ekklesiaballet.org to schedule studio use.

How To Submit For ESB Faculty and ECB Company:
Choreographers, please sign up with This Form. The deadline to apply is March 14th. Registration is first come, first serve. We have 5 spots available for faculty and company.
Email admin@ekklesiaballet.org if you need to use studio space for rehearsal. Rehearsals must occur outside of Ekklesia company time.
Requirements for Company/Faculty:
Solos: 2 minutes max
Duets and group pieces: 3 minutes max
Song Choice: We encourage songs without words. All songs should be family friendly. Please email songs to admin@ekklesiaballet.org. Music must be fully cut, ready to go, and in mp3 format.
