Join us for an evening of storytelling through poetry, music and dance!
Featuring poetry by Middetown Youth and Narratio Fellows, music by Iraqi composer Ameen Mokdad and Hartford-based string-ensemble Cuatro Puntos, and dance by Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet.
Admission is free and open to all!

Ekklesia School of Ballet's Wonderland

Wonderland is an original ballet inspired by the story of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland! The performance on May 31st will feature Cast A (Company dancers as the lead rolls), and the performance on June 1st will feature Cast B (Youth Company dancers as the lead rolls). ALL dancers will perform in both shows.

Join us for a special evening of art and nature as we partner with Ekklesia Ballet for a moving performance of “Body and Land”, a powerful dance piece exploring the relationship between humans and the natural world.
The performance will be followed by a conversation on conservation, focusing on efforts to protect and preserve the mansion’s grounds and parklands. Local conservationists and Mansion staff will share insights into the ecological value and future of this cherished landscape.
